Trio set to make debuts for Cowdenbeath
Cowdenbeath will have new recruit Grant Adam in goal against Stranraer as Jamie Sneddon is struggling with a thigh strain.
Two other new signings - Declan McDaid, who is on loan from Partick Thistle, and Ross Caldwell, who recently left Ayr - are also in line for debuts but Kyle Miller is out with a foot injury.
Manager Colin Nish said: "Winning this game could put us into the top half of the table. However, it will not be easy. Stranraer have a terrific away record and are the only side to have beaten us at home.
"Hopefully we can gain a bit of revenge for that."
Stranraer are again without goalkeeper David McGurn, who has a foot injury.
Manager Brian Reid is also unable to call upon player/ assistant manager Lee Mair (groin) and Chris Aitken (calf).
Reid is looking for his side to bounce back from their 5-1 defeat by Peterhead last weekend, and he said: "I am hoping that last Saturday was a hangover from the Celtic cup tie and we will be much more like ourselves at Central Park.
"I will make changes but I will not be making wholesale changes as I believe that the players are determined to put things right by winning at Cowdenbeath."
