Late test for Armstrong
Cowdenbeath go in search of their first home win since October when they host Fife rivals Raith and skipper John Armstrong will need to pass a last-minute fitness test before he can be included.
The Central Park side's new recruits, goalkeeper Sebastian Usai and former Aberdeen youngster Sammy Stewart will be included if the paperwork is completed in time.
Manager Jimmy Nicholl said: "We have been fantastic in away games recently and need to start doing that in our home matches.
"At the start of the season Cowdenbeath were strong at home and struggling away, so hopefully this game will bring us the consistency we need regardless of the venue."
Raith include striker John Baird for their trip across Fife after he signed on for a second stint at the club following his release from Partick.
Midfielder Kevin Moon is available to play after the SFA admitted an error in his total of cautions and advised he was not banned.
Goalkeeper David McGurn (achilles) and defender Paul Watson (foot) are both still out.
Manager Grant Murray said: "We have been on a disappointing run and it is time for that to end. Going to the home of a local rival and winning the three points would be a terrific way to get back to winning ways."
