Hughes unavailable for Cowdenbeath
Cowdenbeath will look to defeat Scottish Championship leaders Hearts at Central Park without Declan Hughes.
Hughes is unavailable after returning to St Mirren following the end of his loan spell.
Calum Gallagher looks set to miss out due to the ankle injury he suffered in Saturday's 2-1 win over Queen of the South, with foot injuries keeping Kenny Adamson and Dean Brett sidelined and John Armstrong missing with an ankle problem.
Manager Jimmy Nicholl said: "Everyone has taken a lift from Saturday's result and performance and we will look to build on that. We won by attacking and despite all the strengths that Hearts have we aim to attack them as well."
Hearts have Morgaro Gomis available after suspension.
Osman Sow and Kevin McHattie remain on the sidelines while Soufian El Hassnaoui is again expected to miss out but Dale Carrick is pushing for a comeback.
Hearts can go 12 points clear of Rangers and head coach Robbie Neilson is focusing on the game rather than issues at Ibrox after Ally McCoist was removed from his post as manager.
Neilson said: "Things have been going on there for a long time but it doesn't really affect us. I am just preparing for our game. That is the main thing for us."
