Cowdenbeath are less Moore

Cowdenbeath have been dealt a blow in the lead-up to the visit of Falkirk as new recruit Craig Moore is ruled out.

The on-loan Motherwell striker has been denied a debut after injuring his knee and joins Sam Stanton (ankle), Liam Cusack (knee) and Greg Stewart (ankle) on the sidelines.

Colin Cameron returns after a one-game ban and the Central Park player-manager said: "We have been leading in our last six games and not won any of them. Hopefully against Falkirk we can get ahead and show the belief in ourselves that we can see the game out.

"I watched Falkirk last week in the Scottish Cup and they scored four times on a poor pitch. That shows how dangerous they are."

Falkirk will be missing Kieran Duffie after the defender picked up head and ankle injuries while playing for Scotland's Under-21 side against Greece in midweek.

Craig Sibbald remains on the sidelines with an ankle problem.

Bairns technical director Alex Smith told his players not to be fooled by the Blue Brazil's five-month winless run.

Smith said: "Colin Cameron has done a terrific job at Cowdenbeath and they deserve to have more points on board than they have. He has made them a very hard working side that can attack you well but draws have hurt their points total badly.

"We have won our last two games scoring eight goals and it is our aim to build on that, although it will be difficult."
