Greig Spence leveller denies Blue Toon

Greig Spence scored a late leveller as Cowdenbeath ended a run of two straight defeats with a 2-2 draw against Peterhead.

Rory McAllister opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the second minute, his fifth goal of the season, after Shane Sutherland was tripped by Mo Yaqub.

Cowdenbeath were back on level terms in the 15th minute, though, Gordon Smith scoring his first goal for the club.

After Yaqub's miserable afternoon continued when he was sent off for a second bookable offence five minutes into the second half, Sutherland smashed Peterhead's second into the top corner in the 62nd minute.

But Spence ensured the points were shared seven minutes from time with a right-footed finish.
