McKenzie salvages crucial Cowden point

Marc McKenzie rescued a vital point for Cowdenbeath as they twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Livingston.

The visitors got off to a flying start when Paul Watson turned in a Liam Fox corner after just seven minutes.

Kevin McCann almost doubled the lead immediately but for a fine save from Thomas Flynn to deny him.

The hosts then lost Scott Linton to injury as their nightmare start continued.

Callum Booth was next to test Flynn who produced another brilliant stop to push his effort round the post.

However, Cowden were level after 35 minutes when Greg Stewart poked the ball in after Andrew McNeil failed to hold his initial effort.

The Lions looked to be heading for all three points after Craig Barr restored their lead with 20 minutes remaining.

But McKenzie's 90th-minute strike inside the box moves the Blue Brazil to within three points of relegation rivals Dumbarton.
