Wright edges closer to return
14 Oct 2008 - 14:14:19
Coventry City right-back Stephen Wright has returned to training after being sidelined since August with an Achilles problem.
Meanwhile, Sky Blues boss Chris Coleman is confident that injured duo Ben Turner and Freddy Eastwood will be fit enough to feature against Wolves this weekend.
The former Fulham boss told the Evening Telegraph: "Stephen Wright and Ben Turner both trained for the first time on Monday and Ben should be all right for the weekend.
"Wrighty has been out for nine weeks and is going to need two or three reserve games to get himself up to fitness. But we're happy with him. He's come through his first full session and that's very positive for us.
"Freddy's doing OK. He's keeping on top of the tendinitis and he trained on Monday but he isn't at full pelt and we're keeping our fingers crossed that he'll be fit to face Wolves."
