Worthy snubs McKenzie exit plea

Norwich City boss Nigel Worthington has confirmed he has turned down a transfer request from striker Leon McKenzie.
The former Peterborough United hitman has been with the Canaries for three-and-a-half years, but Worthington has snubbed his plea to leave because he views him as a big part of the club's bid to secure promotion.
"Leon is an important part of the football club," Worthington told the club's official website.
"He is highly thought of by myself and the staff and the supporters and is a very important member of our small squad.
"As far as I'm concerned he is not for sale and will remain at Norwich City."
