According to the Coventry Telegraph, Nigel Worthington was never in the frame for the Coventry City manager's job.

The York Free Press had claimed yesterday that Worthington opted to go to York City rather than the Sky Blues because of York's better financial position.

However, today the Coventry Telegraph are claiming that the former Leicester City manager whom according to social media, many City supporters would have objected to, was never in the frame.
