We Have Got To Get At Forest - Boothroyd

Attack from the start says City boss Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that his side must get straight into sides as they have done during wins at Bristol City and Ipswich Town if they want to get anything from Tuesday night's trip to Nottingham Forest otherwise, it could end up like Saturday's defeat to Leeds.Speaking to the CT, Boothroyd said: "We've just got to make sure we fly out of the traps at Forest, get right into their faces from the very first minute. "If we do that, there are very few teams in this league that can match us, but if we don't we could go the same way as we did against Leeds."After all the build-up, it was a bit of a burst balloon. "We wanted a great crowd and a great result and we only got one because we sat off Leeds at the start and there is no argument that they were the better side in the first half. "It's one thing if somebody scores a really good goal against you, but I don't think that has happened to us all season, and we didn't give Keiren Westwood anything near enough protection. "You can't give a player like Robert Snodgrass that sort of room from a throw-in - it was a good finish, but I could probably score if you let me run through like that."In the second half it was all us - we showed the character we've got and put them under an enormous amount of pressure - but you can't leave yourself that sort of uphill battle against a team like them."It was similar to when we played Watford - it must be teams I used to work for - when we waited until we were two goals down before we started to do our job properly. "That's very irritating for fans and certainly for managers, because why wait to get a punch on the nose? "Give them one first - that's what I've always believed in."Picture copyright of Covsupport News Service. Credit CNS/SB
