We Can Have No Complaints - McKay

Opposing Manager's View Watford boss Malky McKay said that he had no complaints about the 2-0 defeat to Coventry City this afternoon at the Ricoh Arena. Speaking to Watford's official club website, McKay said:"I felt we could have been two up in the first 10 minutes or so.  "The players are very disappointed to be coming away with nothing today. It's just a reflection for me of quite how far this group have come this season that there's a genuinely deflated feeling at not getting to within one point of a Play-Off place. "We can't expect Danny Graham to take the goalscoring burden on his shoulders every time, "He's such a selfless centre-forward. Even when he's not banging goals in, he's working so hard for his team-mates. "I've often talked about what happens in both boxes being key to the outcome of a game - and that was just as true today. "Games can ebb and flow outside the penalty area, but we weren't at our best when we needed to be and the goals - and their timing in particular - proved to be crucial." "Missing Lloyd Doyley and Adrian Mariappa, two of our stalwarts, certainly counted against us this afternoon. But we can have no complaints. We're disappointed - but it's not over. "There's seven games to go and I promise the fans that we'll be giving it everything, we really will. "It's too easy to say we've had a good season, whatever happens. No way - we'll be all out to do what we can to end on a high, wherever that is."
