Ward linked with swap deal

Reports suggest Coventry City defender Elliott Ward could be heading to Norwich City in next month's transfer window.

Canaries boss Glenn Roeder is keen to land Ward, but had been told the former West Ham United player was not for sale.

However, he is now believed to be willing to offer winger David Bell in a player-exchange deal.

Sky Blues boss Chris Coleman made a formal offer for the 24-year-old, which was rejected, to Bell's former club Luton Town in the summer.
