Thorn urges players to thrill a bumper home crowd

Thorn wants crowd to back his team Andy Thorn has now had five games in charge of Coventry City and has won eight points from the 15 on offer, but has only led his side out once at their Ricoh home. On Saturday he has his  second home game when his side take on Millwall and he has urged his players to put on a show for the bumper crowd that is expected. The club has reduced the prices for Saturday's game and with the recent upturn in form and more attractive attacking football, the club is hoping to have a much larger crowd at The Ricoh and Thorn is pleading for the fans to roar his side on and for his players to respond by giving them an entertaining, attacking and successful game. Thorn said, “We had great support behind us for the Watford game, which was my first home game, and that drove us on. That was fantastic so the more we can get in the better." "I was saying to the boys the other night we have been away a lot but we’re back on our own turf now. This is our stadium and our fans and we want to kick on and really show what we’re about." “It is something we want to do and have talked about doing from the minute we came in. The confidence is growing, everyone is enjoying it and, as I said before, a happy house is a successful one and we are moving in the right direction so long may that continue.” He continued, “What gives me satisfaction is the lads have listened, responded and done the right things and they have got their rewards for that. "Now we have got five games to go and the chance to push on, and then push on again after that.”
