Thorn; The mood is good, but we won't get carried away

City boss looking to build on win Andy Thorn, speaking to the Sky Blues Player, has said the mood in the dressing room is good after the much needed win over Watford last week. Coventry are now ten points above the drop zone and can breathe a little easier, but they are not relaxing until they are mathematically safe from relegation and even when they are they will continue to strive to finish as high as possible in the Championship table. Thorn is keeping his player focused on the next game rather than allowing them to bask in the glory of a win as he doesn't want them to get carried away. Thorn said, "The mood's been good in training and we've been looking forward to the weekend but we don't want to get carriedaway. It was a great feeling on Saturday and we all enjoyed it but it's back to work now. We will just take one game at a time and try to build on what we've done so far." Responding to questions about whether he would continue to pay free flowing attacking football that has pleased the fans, he said, "You have to earn the right to play good football and you do that by working hard when you don't have the ball. All of that came together at Watford I thought but there is still room for improvement. You need your battling qualities and you need to concentrate on the fundamentals." Thorn went on to say he is expecting a tough game at Pride Park as both sides desperately need points ensure their Championship status.  He said, "We know it will be a tough game. Derby do well at homeand we know what to expect from them so we have to be on top of our game if we want a good result." "We're obviously trying to push up the table with what we've got left and we have to make sure the standards get better with every game. The win on Saturday was massive because I saw the smiles in the dressing room after the game and you felt the place change, but when you're on a high you don't want to come down from that so it's important we get back to what we are doing and don't look on the past."
