Telegraph Editor Hits Back After Paper Slated For Villa Advert

The Editor of the Coventry Telegraph has hit back after complaints following his paper carried an advert for hospitality at Aston Villa matches.
The paper carried on Page 11, the following advert:
It received a number of complaints from supporters unhappy that a so-called Coventry paper, which it should be pointed out is printed in Birmingham, was taking adverts for Birmingham based companies,
In reply, Coventry Telegraph editor Alun Thorne tweeted: "To those complainnng about the Aston Villa advert in the Coventry Telegraph, it is illegal to refuse to carry adverts because of footballing preferences!"
