Surgery For Hreidarsson

Defender needs surgery

Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that defender Herman Hreidarsson will need surgery on his dislocated shoulder.

Speaking to the CT's Alan Poole, Thorn said: "Hermann has seen a top specialist and he’s been told that he can’t put it off.

"He’s told me he wants to get back as quickly as possible but, being realistic, the odds are that he’ll be out for the rest of the season.

"But I still want him involved as much as possible because he has got a fantastic presence about him in the dressing room and you just can’t buy that."
