Strachan Starts Scotland Job With A Win

Former Coventry City player and manager Gordon Strachan started his tenure as Scotland manager with a victory.

Charlie Mulgrew scored the goal in the 39th minute of a 1-0 win over Estonia at Aberdeen. 

Chris Coleman's Wales beat Austria 2-1. Craig Bellamy played the first half of the game which saw goals for Gareth Bale and Sam Vokes who replaced the former City forward.

Michael Mifsud played for Malta in a 0-0 draw against former Sky Blue's Michael O'Neill's Northern Ireland
