Regis to be immortalised in stone

A statue is to be made of former Coventry City forward Cyrille Regis.

The statue will celebrate Regis' time at West Bromwich Albion along with the late Laurie Cunningham and Brendan Batson.

Sculptor Graham Ibbeson will make the sculpture that is set to be unveiled at an unspecified location in 2014 on the 25th anniversary of Laurie Cunningham's death.
