Slow start hurt us - Boothroyd

Coventry boss Aidy Boothroyd conceded that a lacklustre first-half display cost his side in the 2-1 defeat at Swansea. The Swans dominated proceedings in the first period at the Liberty Stadium and led through Darren Pratley on his return from suspension. Scott Sinclair capitalised on a slack backpass from Martin Cranie to double the home side's advantage just after the interval, but Ben Turner scored his second of the season for Coventry in the 56th minute. Boothroyd said: "We got some pride back in the second half. But if you are to get out of this league, you can't mix it up like we did."We looked lost in the first half, then did more of what we've been working on after the break. Part of getting out of this league is being consistent. You can't turn it on and off like a light switch."But it took us 45 minutes to introduce ourselves to Swansea."It's not acceptable - even when your not playing well you can be on the front foot and we weren't."
