Sky Blues to release trio

Coventry City manager Iain Dowie has confirmed that Andrew Whing, Arran Lee-Barrett and Che Bunce will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

The trio are all out contract and have been told they have no future at the Ricoh Arena.

"This has been a tremendously difficult decision, but sometimes decisions like this have to be made in football," Dowie told the Sky Blues' official website.

"Andy Whing has been a fantastic servant to Coventry City Football Club and I know a huge amount of people will remember him with great affection for scoring the final-ever goal at Highfield Road against Derby County.

"During my time with the club, he was shown what a committed professional he is and I'm sure he will be asset to another club.

"Although Arran and Che have only been with Coventry City for a short time, I've been impressed with their attitude and professionalism and would like to wish them the very best of luck for the future."
