Sky Blues to keep duo

Coventry City are looking to extend the loan deals of Richard Duffy and Clive Clarke at the Ricoh Arena.

The Sky Blues landed Portsmouth full-back Duffy and Sunderland centre-half Clarke on initial one-month loan deals and manager Micky Adams has admitted he is keen to retain services of the pair.

"Both want to stay and subject to approval from their clubs we are going to extend their loan until January," Adams told the Coventry Evening Telegraph.

"I have been impressed with Clive who I tried to sign in the summer.

"I have been pleased with what he has done and he wants to stay and play as well."
