Sky Blues snap up McIndoe
04 Aug 2009 - 15:08:55
Coventry City have completed the signing of Bristol City midfielder Michael McIndoe for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old has penned a two-year contract with the Sky Blues, having spent two seasons at Ashton Gate.
McIndoe has also enjoyed spells with Wolves, Barnsley, Derby County, Doncaster Rovers, Yeovil Town, Hereford United and Luton Town.
Coventry boss Chris Coleman told the club's official website: "This is a very good signing for us. Michael has proved himself right at the top of the Championship and is just the type of player we have been looking for.
"He will give us natural width down the left side, something we have needed for some time.
"I have said all along that we want players who we know can take us to the next level and Michael fits firmly into that bracket.
"He was recently on the verge of moving to Sheffield United, but are delighted he has opted to join us."
