Sky Blues snap up Jutkiewicz

Coventry City have confirmed that Lukas Jutkiewicz has joined the club from Premier League side Everton for an undisclosed fee.

The striker has penned a three-year deal at the Ricoh Arena and follows in the footsteps of fellow summer acquisitions Lee Carsley, Richard Keogh, Gary McSheffrey, Stephen O'Halloran and Roy O'Donovan.

Jutkiewicz enjoyed a successful loan spell at Scottish Premier League side Motherwell last term and the 21-year-old will add extra presence in manager Aidy Boothroyd's team.

"We're delighted to have Lukas on board and this adds more strength to the squad," Boothroyd told the club's official website.

"We wanted to enhance our attacking options and this will certainly do that. He is at the right age too, to grow and develop with Coventry City."
