Ernie Machin Remembered

Former Coventry City player Ernie Machin who sadly passed away last month was remembered on Legends Day before City's home game with Carlisle United this afternoon.

Some 288 balloons to mark his number of appearances were released prior to kick off by his team mate Dave Clements who had flown in from Denver, Colorado, on behalf of the City legends and the Coventry City Former Players Association.

There will be a formal memorial service at Coventry Cathedral on Wednesday October 3rd at 3pm.
