Sky Blues exit for McNamee

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has decided not to offer a new contract to David McNamee and the Scottish right-back has now left the club. The 27-year-old, who was recently linked with a move to Aberdeen, made 32 appearances for the Sky Blues in his two seasons at the Ricoh Arena following his transfer from Livingston. However, McNamee struggled with injuries ever since his move to England. Sunderland defender Stephen Wright is currently on trial with City as he bids to win a permanent contract with the club.
