Sky Blues delight Coleman

Coventry City boss Chris Coleman was pleased that his side managed to see off Championship promotion hopefuls Nottingham Forest 1-0 on Tuesday evening.

Freddy Eastwood's solitary strike was enough to land the Ricoh Arena outfit all three points, but Coleman has been disappointed with some criticising the club's transfer policy.

The Sky Blues lost star striker Leon Best on transfer deadline day to rivals Newcastle United and, with nobody coming in as a direct replacement, it has disgruntled some of the fans.

He said: "I've been very disappointed with some of the stories I've seen with people criticising the fact that we haven't brought anybody in.

"The chairman has been working very hard to find us reinforcements and to be honest it sickens me when I see people complaining about what he's done.

"Remember, he saved the club when he came here and he's put us in a position when we're not in debt to anybody."
