Sky Blues challenge suits Dimi

New Coventry City goalkeeper Dimitrios Konstantopoulos believes the challenge for the number one jersey with Andy Marshall next season will be good for the club.
Konstantopoulos, 28, joined the Sky Blues on a free transfer from Hartlepool United last month and is relishing the challenge of taking on last year's player-of-the-season for the starting berth.
"There was a similar situation when I first joined Hartlepool. Their number one at the time, Jim Provett, had just been named the player of the season but I managed to take my chance when it came soon after and made myself a regular," he told the club's official website.
"I like the competition - the harder it is the harder you work - and I'm really looking forward to working with Andy because he's a very good goalkeeper."
Meanwhile, the Greek keeper is backing fellow new arrival Arjan De Zeeuw to make a huge impact in the Championship.
"I think Arjan De Zeeuw is a great signing - I've watched him play for Wigan and he's a really top defender," he added.
"He's the kind of defender who plays with his brain in terms of his positional sense and his experience is only going to help us this season."
