Silly price tag quoted for Keogh

National press give price tag less than the 'derisory' offer

Today's Daily Star is reporting that Bristol City have been told the price tag for Coventry City's highly rated defender Richard Keogh is £400,000!

Bristol City had an offer of £500,000 rejected as derisory a couple of weeks ago and also had a later increased offer, thought to be around £800,000 also rejected.

Coventry's player of the year has another year to run on his contract and has been offered a new deal to keep him at the club, but Bristol City and Cardiff City are both keen to prise the defender away from the Sky Blues.
