School Children To Watch City V Forest
City's Tickets For Schools Programme
school children and their families from across Coventry and Warwickshire will be watching Coventry City take on Nottingham Forest tomorrow.
They will be attending the game as part of City's Tickets For Schools programme which offers discounted tickets, an initiative introduced by long standing City supporter Pat Abel a couple of seasons ago and money back to the schools.
27 local schools are signed up to the scheme and Mike Meitin, of Coventry City's Fan Relationship Management Centre , said to the club website: "Tickets for Schools has been a really popular initiative over the past couple of seasons.
"We've improved the programme this season and we hope to see even more schoolchildren and their families heading up to the Ricoh Arena for the match against Nottingham Forest.
"We have had 27 schools from across the city and county sign up for the game and it's our hope that we can turn some of those youngsters into regulars at matches.
"There is the added bonus for the school that for every person that signs up for the game, they get money back."
