City Academy boss pleased for Gel to be nominated

Coventry City Academy Boss Gregor Ricoh has said that he is delighted that Gael Bigirimana has been nominated in the Championship Apprentice Of The Year Award which will be presented at the Football League Awards on Sunday March 12th.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Rioch said: It is a brilliant achievement for Gael who has represented the Academy unbelievably well.

"The award is judged on football and education and he has excelled in both.

“It is a great achievement to be in the final three, but he has a great chance of winning it.

"He is a great representation of what the Academy, and the club as a whole, strive to achieve and we want all our apprentices to aspire to that level of achievement."
