Respect What Robins Has Done - Cameron
Defender Saya City Boss Deserves Respect
Coventry City defender Nathan Cameron feels that the City supporters should respect what Mark Robins did during his time at the club.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Cameron, who played in the 2-0 win at Bury at which former City boss Mark Robins was loudly slammed by many of the 1241 City supporters, said: “Not really because I think he did a great job here. Everyone knows that, and I think it’s unfair some of the fans getting on his back because they need to respect what he’s done.
“Everyone needs to move on. You never know, we might have got promoted with him in charge, but we’re going to have to do it without him now and hopefully this win will go a long way to helping us achieve that.
“We were told on Thursday and as disappointed as we were we all reacted positively in terms of moving forwards and doing well for this football club. I’ve seen enough managers come and go even in my short career – probably three or four now – to know how to deal with it and get on with it.
“Lee has shown a lot of faith in me by picking me and I have got to repay him with good performances and hopefully a few more clean sheets like today.”
