Positive signs for Dowie

New Coventry City boss Iain Dowie has hailed the efforts of his new players during his first week in charge of the Sky Blues.
A 2-1 win over Southampton and a 1-1 draw at Norwich City have given Dowie grounds for optimism in the coming months.
Dowie told the Evening Telegraph: "To be fair to the players they are probably shattered physically and mentally because they've had to take so much on board.
"I just think we need a little bit more pace and creativity in the team - that's probably the two things that I'd highlight.
"But the lads couldn't have given me more and have been absolutely supreme, so there's no criticism of the players at all.
"It has been a very good first week and the players deserve the credit because they've thrown themselves into everything and wanted to embrace change."
