Parkin Doncaster Bound

One time City target goes to Doncaster Jon Parkin whom Coventry City attempted to sign before the transfer window closed last month, has according to Doncaster Rovers' website, joined Donny on a month's loan. Parkin had been used as a makeweight in the deal to take Sky Blues Ben Turner to Cardiff City. However, the former Hull City, Preston and Stoke City striker could not agree terms after undergoing a medical at Ryton and returned to the South Wales based club, whom Parkin has said that he did not want to leave.
