Newcastle Bid 750k For Gael?

According to some Newcastle websites, Newcastle United have bid £750k for Coventry City young midfielder Gael Bigirimana.

Bigirimana, who like Cyrus Christie was thrown into the first team after coming through the Academy ranks, is wanted by The Geordies for their Development squad.

City boss Andy Thorn, who had a season at Newcastle during his playing career, has said this week that he would prefer it if Bigirimana, who is in contract, stayed.
