Coventry City manager Iain Dowie has swooped to sign the highly-rated Hartlepool United goalkeeper Dimitrios Konstantopoulos.
The Greek shot-stopper has agreed a three-year deal with the Sky Blues and will team up with the rest of the squad when they report for pre-season training in early July.
"He's played all of Hartlepool's league games this season and I've no doubt that Dimi was a key component in the side winning promotion," Dowie told City's official website.
"He's an honest professional who wants to better himself and I believe he'll fit well into the squad at Coventry City.
"To keep 25 clean sheets at any level is a fantastic achievement and I look forward to working with him in the near future."
The 28-year-old made 139 appearances for Pools after moving to Victoria Park on a free transfer from Portuguese club Farense in October 2003.
