Coventry City striker Andy Morrell has returned to light training after recovering from the knee injury that has kept him out of action for almost two months.
The former Wrexham star has missed the Sky Blues' best run of the season, but hopes to be back to boost their play-off challenge in the near future.
"I did a bit with the fitness coach on Monday, kicking a ball and stuff so I'll be with him all week and we'll see how it is over the weekend to see if I join in on Monday," Morrell told the club's official website.
"There's a reserve game on Tuesday next week so depending on how it goes this week, I might get a little bit of that.
"I want to get a few first-team games in this season, although I don't really know when, because I've just got to see how this week goes and see if there is any reaction to it.
"Everything seems to be going okay so far, so touch wood I could be back in training next week."
