Andy Morrell is determined to take the chance he has been offered by Coventry City.
The Sky Blues completed the transfer of the prolific striker from Wrexham on Wednesday and the 28-year-old is determined to prove his worth in the first division.
"I can't wait to get cracking," he told the Coventry Evening Telegraph.
"I grew up in Market Bosworth and my mum and dad still live there, so I know the area very well and it is great to come back.
"I also started my career at Nuneaton Borough and always dreamed one day of making it at a higher level.
"I always wanted to be a professional footballer but the chances never seemed to come along. I reached the age of 23 and thought my chance had gone, but I was fortunate to get the opportunity at Wrexham and I took it with both hands.
"Coventry is another fantastic challenge for me and I fully intend to succeed."
