Mifsud's City move is on

Coventry City striker Michael Mifsud is set to complete his move to Bristol City after he spent the weekend touring the city with his partner.

A contract has been agreed and a medical completed, although the fee for Coventry's top scorer has not been announced.

Mifsud scored 17 goals in all competitions last season but, with the arrival of Freddy Eastwood at the Ricoh Arena, the Malta international has been allowed to leave a year before the end of his contract.

"He's happy with the football and the terms and he'll be the player we've been missing," said Bristol City manager Gary Johnson in an interview with BBC Radio Bristol.

"He's got that real good pace up there and cleverness to get in on goal one-on-one, he's always looking to get in behind defenders."
