Midfielder Thornton exits Ricoh

Coventry City have parted company with Kevin Thornton by mutual consent.The midfielder, who made 55 appearances in four seasons, scored just twice for the Sky Blues and spent a period out on loan at Brighton last year. Last month the 22-year-old was convicted of a drink driving offence for being over twice the legal limit.
