McSheffrey keeping feet on ground
Gary McSheffrey is happy to see Coventry riding high in the Championship but admits no-one in the dressing room is getting carried away with the success. The winger on Saturday scored his fourth goal of the season and third in three games to clinch a 1-0 win over Sheffield United - the Sky Blues` first victory at Bramall Lane since September 2001 when Laurent Delorge found the net in a 1-0 triumph.McSheffrey`s winner sent City into fourth place but the Coventry-born forward insists everyone at his hometown club remains firmly grounded."If we take each game as it comes, it`s an old cliche but it`s true, and try to win more games than we lose, you never know what happens," he told Sky Blues Player."But we`re not looking too far ahead of the minute, we`ll certainly enjoy it and our form is good, we`ll grow in confidence for next week."He added: "I thought it was a solid performance on Saturday, not the best attacking-wise, but we did a job, again looked difficult to beat and nicked a goal on one of our breakaways in the first half. So it was good."
