McSheffrey eyes cup chance

Coventry City winger Gary McSheffrey is hopeful that they can overcome Middlesbrough to set up an FA Cup fifth round trip to either Crystal Palace or Preston.

The Sky Blues were unlucky not to defeat their Premiership opponents at the Ricoh Arena in Saturday's 1-1 fourth round draw and will fancy their chances of creating an upset at the Riverside next Tuesday.

Palace and Preston also need to replay at Selhurst Park next week after drawing 1-1 at Deepdale and McSheffrey hopes to be facing the eventual winners of the tie on the weekend of Saturday February 18.

He said: "It's going to be a tough one.

"People say when you come up against a Premiership club you have to beat them first time around.

"But we have to take confidence from the game, so we'll go up there, give it our best shot and see what happens."
