McKenzie Scores Another For Kettering

Tuesday night non-league round up Former Coventry City striker Leon McKenzie scored his second goal since joining Kettering Town tonight. McKenzie netted for the Poppies in a 5-1 defeat to York City at Nene Park. Nuneaton Town beat Boston United 2-0. Goals from Lee Smith (27) and Robbie Burns gave Kevin Wilkins side the win. Bedworth United won 2-1 at St Neots Town. The home side took a 55th minute lead before Matty Piggon levelled three minutes later and Spencer hit the winner in the 64th minute. In the Midland Alliance, Stratford Town were beaten 2-1 at home by Atherstone Town. In the Midland Combination Division One, Alvis lost 3-0 at home to Shirley Town.
