Leeds Boosted City Finances

Leeds promotion boosted City's funds According to the Yorkshire Post, Leeds United's promotion to the Championship forced them to pay Coventry City £250k. Leeds and Coventry were splitting Michael Doyle's wages for his loan to the then League One club last season but The Elland Road club had agreed that they would pay the whole amount if they pay the whole bill if they were promoted. When this happened on May 8th 2010, they received a bill for £250k from Coventry City a few days later.
