Kevin Malaga has returned to Coventry City after rejecting a loan extension
City Development Officer Steve Waggott and manager Mark Robins had pavedthe way for the Frenchman to have another month's loan at nearbyConference Premier side Nuneaton Town but the defender has rejected thedeal and returned to the Sky Blues.
Nuneaton manager Kevin Wilkin told the Coventry Telegraph's Derek Brown:"It's quite a coup for us to get Kevin but it was never going to be morethan short term. "He did well in the handful of games that he played forus and we wish him well."
What future Malaga has at Coventry City remains uncertain. The formerNice player played in the FA Cup whilst on loan at Liberty Way andcannot play for the Sky Blues on Saturday in their Second Round tie athome to Morecambe and he is expected to return to City U21's for whom hehas made a number of appearances this season.
