Sad to report death last week of former Coventry City FC player Ken Simcoe in Nottingham.Ken, a right winger, was signed by Billy FrIth from Nottingham Forest in the summer of 1959 but struggled to win a place in City's Third Division team.

He made eight league appearances and scored one goal before leaving the club for Notts County the following summer.
