Keep Coventry in Coventry Announce Protest Plans

Another Protest Planned

The Keep Coventry in Coventry - NOT ONE PENNY MORE campaign are planning a protest on Saturday.

The campaign, which aims to encourage people not to buy merchandise etc until it is confirmed that all 2013/14 league home games will be played at the Ricoh Arena, are building on the successful London protest by the Sky Blue Trust.

Tthe next event will be at 12 noon Saturday 29 June by the Jimmy Hill Statue at the Ricoh.

To attract media attention, the theme is going to be based on Tim Fisher's suggestion that fans should erect a statue of Joy Seppala.

A 'statue' of Ms Seppala will therefore be unveiled and the PR theme will be comparing Jimmy Hill's achievements with the proposal to move CCFC out of Coventry - a light hearted way of conveying the very serious message of Keeping Coventry in Coventry.

All City support is very much welcomed
