Injury ends McKenzie's season

Coventry City striker Leon McKenzie's season has been ended by a ruptured Achilles tendon. The four-goal frontman, who is out of contract at the Ricoh Arena in the summer, was stretchered off during Saturday's 1-0 win over Birmingham City and scans have confirmed the worst. "He's devastated. He worked so hard to get back last year after a thigh injury," said manager Chris Coleman. "But we'll look after him and get him back. "He had another one this year on his opposite leg, he got back from that and now he's played Saturday and it's just one of those things."
