Injury blow for midfield duo

Coventry City boss Chris Coleman has two key midfielders doubtful for Tuesday night's trip to Southampton.

Guillaume Beuzelin and Jay Tabb are struggling with leg and rib injuries respectively, problems that could sideline them until the weekend.

Beuzelin, who was taken off late in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Derby, is the most likely to play, although Coleman will not risk a recurrence of the problem.

"We have to see if it settles down in time because if not then we will have to change it again," Coleman admitted to the Coventry Telegraph.

The former Fulham boss added: His loss would be a shame because he used the ball quite well for the most part. But his leg was not great so we will have to wait and see."

Of Tabb, Coleman was less optimistic, adding: "Jay hasn't really settled down at all. I am planning for Tuesday without him but if we get him, then great."
