Indian Club Pays City A Visit

CCFC Asia initiative continues

Coventry City have had another visit from representatives from Indian club YFC Rurka Kalan.

Arranged through the CCFC Asia initiaive, representatives watched City beat Portsmouth, the U18's train and learned about nutrition and science at Coventry University.

"The level of what we have been allowed to see is above our expectations already," said Jitender Kumar of YFC Rurka Kalan to the Coventry Observer's Steve Carpenter.

"They have allowed us to watch three days training and we hope one day to take a couple of coaches back over to India to interact to our kids and train our coaches.

"They are raised differently and I think it would be interesting for them to get that mix and some good would come from it."
