Coventry City veteran Don Hutchison could miss most of the remainder of the season after suffering a setback in his recovery from a broken ankle.
Hutchison suffered the injury back in November and was expected to return to action for the remaining two months of the campaign.
But the 35-year-old has had to undergo fresh surgery in a bid to cure a complication and faces another six weeks on the sidelines.
"Don has been to see a specialist because there hasn't quite been the healing that we would have wanted there," said Sky Blues boss Iain Dowie.
"I think he is having a little wash-out op so it will probably be four to six weeks but it might be less."
